T.J. Thorne
is the owner of Howdy Home Inspections and has been in the construction business his entire life. In 2001, after graduating from college in Alaska, he started his first home inspection company. TJ has over 20 years of construction experience and has as much “Hands On” experience as any inspector in the area. He has built additions, wired houses, re-plumbed crawlspaces, put on new roofs and renovated bathrooms and kitchens.He has replaced old galvanized piping, cut out and replaced damaged girders and bandsills, built decks, replaced windows and hung thousands of square feet of drywall. He is a true craftsman in every sense of the word.
In addition to having inspected thousands of houses throughout his career, T.J. is also a North Carolina licensed Real Estate Broker. This allows TJ to understand the process and importance of the different stages of a real estate transaction. While you’ll want to hire TJ to be your home inspector, it’s important to note that he’s a champion burrito eater, husband of a smokin’ hot Cuban gal and father to the most amazing little boy named Boone. When not inspecting houses TJ can be found hiking in the North Carolina Mountains with him wife and son and their Boston Terrier, Junkyard Joe.
